I truly can’t speak highly enough about Flapjacks in Safety Harbor. As a local business owner, I spend a lot of time in different establishments around town, and this diner is the one place I consistently find myself coming back to when I want great food and an even better atmosphere. The General Manager, Nate, is absolutely phenomenal. You can tell he genuinely cares about the experience of every single guest. He’s always walking the floor, cleaning tables, checking on people, and striking up conversations. The way he interacts with customers makes the whole place feel like a community gathering spot where everyone has known each other since we were kids. The food is always on point, and the energy in the restaurant is something special. Everyone always seems happy. You’ll see everything from a toddler who came in screaming with their parents, to an elderly couple enjoying a beautiful breakfast date together...and somehow the staff makes everyone feel welcome and taken care of. If you’re in Safety Harbor and looking for a place with amazing food, great service, and a genuinely warm environment, Flapjacks is it. Highly recommend! ☕🥞 When you get there you know EXACTLY who Nate is and be sure to tell him Jennifer the female plumber sent you his way!!!! I know good management when I see it and NATE you got it Sir!!!
Holy shamoley is all I can say. First time here and won’t be the last! Needless to say 3/4 of the food is coming home. I ordered the turkey club and they roast their own turkey, it was great! Bob got the stuffed French toast and it was unbelievable. He got a side of sausage and it’s probably the best breakfast sausage we have had since we moved here. The place is very busy and I understand why!!! Or server DeeDee was very kind and Nate came over and checked on us to see what we thought! Definitely 5 star!!
We had a delicious brunch and DeeDee was so friendly and helpful. Our youngest said his chicken was THE BEST and he can't wait to come back. Try the stuffed hash browns -- they were amazing!
5-Star Food, 5-Star People: A Must-Visit! FlapJacks is a breath of fresh air! Located at SR 580 & McMullen Booth, this spot has mastered the art of the perfect breakfast. From the second we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Emmy, was phenomenal—polite, pleasant, and incredibly knowledgeable. Unlike other places where you feel rushed or ignored, Emmy gave our party of five plenty of time to decide and answered all my questions with a genuine smile. We also met Nate (the owner/manager), who made us feel like old friends even though it was our first time in! The Food: Everything is prepared fresh and cooked to perfection. • Poached Eggs: Executed perfectly (hard to find!). Special thanks to the cook. • Biscuits & Gravy: The best I’ve ever had. • Sausage: Both links and patties were delicious and cooked exactly to our liking. The entire establishment is spotless, and every single employee was attentive and kind. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high-quality food with top-tier hospitality. We will definitely be back!
No complaints here at all! Their computers were down but it had no effect on their service. Our waitress was the sweetest and the food was great!
Very clean and friendly staff. First time here and the waitress suggested the pancakes and omelettes. I ordered the ham and cheddar cheese omelette with crispy hash browns and a side of pancakes instead of toast. Everything was delicious and the syrup made the pancakes amazing! The omelette was full! I could only eat half of my meal. Definitely coming back!
Amazingly fresh made cinnamon buns Pancakes were scrumptious. The Mexican hash brown sandwich thing was just fantastic. The service was the best I've had in quite some time. This will definitely be a place I frequent often.
Once in a while we like to go out and enjoy a nice breakfast. We decided to try this place. When we went, the place was full but we were able to get seated right away. They have a good selection of choices on the menu. The server came over a little after that to take our drink order. The food was good! .The omelettes are flavorful but I have seen bigger omelettes. The French toasts was good as well and came with fresh fruit! The only reason why I would not come back to this restaurant is the coffee. It was so weak and had no flavor and was like water. The best thing about sitting down and enjoying a great breakfast is having that great cup of coffee in the.morning. They really fall short here and they should evaluate about changing the coffee. The orange juice was from concentrate so it was ok. Overall, the food came out in a reasonable time and the service was spot on given how busy the place was. They were reasonably priced so I give them 4 stars.
